The story
The repeated moving-image works depend on stable looping, consistent display conditions and a restrained technical presence across the sequence of rooms.

Gestos presented Ana Léon’s work across six successive rooms at MAAT Central. Drawing and analogue Super 8 film meet in repeated, looped gestures and deliberately austere visual languages.

The repeated moving-image works depend on stable looping, consistent display conditions and a restrained technical presence across the sequence of rooms.
GGS developed and delivered the audiovisual implementation across the six successive rooms: projectors, loudspeakers and sound systems, AV integration, technical installation and custom steel support structures. During pre-production, GGS worked with the architectural, construction and curatorial teams to plan how sound would be kept from spilling between adjacent rooms, including curtain and partition considerations, and to coordinate the AV systems with the exhibition layout.
